Having a lot of fun not buying USA brands. No Heinz, no Hellmans, no Coke or Pepsi the list goes on. To be honest most of the brands are sh1t anyway.

So we are going send our young soldiers to Ukraine to keep Putin from fighting Trumpkin. Let's assume the NHS won't be there for them when they come home, the Police will be unaware of the mental health consequences. And what then. Thoughts?

Decline in Nursing degree applications corrolates with poor leadership and management of younger clinicians in the NHS. Expect this year's 11% reduction to be closer to 15% next year. @chriswardmp.bsky.social

@healthwatchbh.bsky.social It's a real shame that you don't do more about the awfull secondary care in Brighton. The overspend by the University Hospital Trust will take £100m from Sussex care this year. What are you going to allow the NHS to cut. I suggest the Hospital CEO and CFO for start.

It's pretty clear that the UK is doing the right thing with its green agenda but in completely the wrong way. I think we may be in for a period of low or no growth until UK energy prices fall to below the EU average. Eg. no AI data centres at the current UK kW price. @chriswardmp.bsky.social

Evelyn Terrace bus stops closed again with no temporary stops. This after 12 weeks with stops closed. Seems cruel and unusual to do this to those that rely on buses for their mobility. #brighton #nocareforthecommunity

If you're thinking of shopping in Morrisons on St James Street #brighton dodge the addicts on the way in, don't trip over the sleeping drunk. Inside there's plenty of ultra processed food and 4 cubic metres of sweets in the entrance. But little fresh food, no fish and empty shelves everywhere.

Not sure if this is happening to anyone else, the NHS is using its email system to spam people. I'm getting recommendation for events I have no interest in. Classic NHS IT having no idea about GDPR.

@chriswardmp.bsky.social Chris we don't need assisted death. The NHS needs to be better at end of life care. Isn't it odd that all palliative care is provided by charities. The key is the word charity. I was present at the death of both my parents. The NHS was absent and I so happy about that.
