Why have ads suddenly gotten so lazy on YouTube? I used to have ads that could actually air on TV, now I just get PowerPoints with AI music in the background that don’t even try to sell me on anything. Come on folks, at least act like you want people to buy your shitty products.

I know my mental health is doing bad when I start feeling the need to do another play through of Dragon Quest Builders 2. I’ve already played it all the way through over half a dozen times, and each time I always have so much fun with it. I hope one day someone fixes the slow MALROTH dialogue.

I always forget how bad IBS attacks are until they happen. I’ve been in so much pain and have spent almost half the day only able to leave the bathroom for like 10 minutes tops. I hope this one ends before night time as there is no way I could sleep like this.

Man, scammers are really going hard on the fake driving fine texts, huh? I’m sure that my state driving authority will be texting me about a late fine from some random email domain. Like they aren’t even trying to make it look official, just from some “brew-meister” domain email.

Just felt an earthquake for the first time in a while. Was accompanied by a roaring noise and lasted for what felt like a minute, but was probably shorter. Thankfully I don’t see any damage so I think it wasn’t that bad.

Just saw an inventory system that was just a pie chart. Item size/weight just made it a bigger or smaller slice.
Feels like it would work well for games focusing on a very limited inventory, but I don’t think it would work if you ever want to increase inventory size as a part of profession. 1/2

Cursed mod idea: a mod that makes it so the more keys you have in your inventory, the longer it takes you to unlock things you have the keys for. Will act as an alternative to carry weight as a negative incentive to hoarding. Explain it as having to try all the keys on the keyring.

I really love that’s we’ve come together as English speakers to start using “chat” as a way to refer to the audience of media, whether it be posts, videos, streams, and I’m sure soon enough someone on stage will refer to the crowd as “chat”.
If we treat it as a pronoun, what person would it be?

I can’t believe that the response to having the Oblivion Remaster leak was to just drop the game out of the ether as fast as they could.
Now I need to figure out what games to delete to make room, since obviously I can’t delete my hypermodded oblivion just yet. Maybe Starfield can go.

Man, never expected to get so traumatized by college that I still have nightmares that I just straight up forgot I had a class the whole semester and ended up being forced into another year because it was a required course for my major. It’s been 5 years, and it still scares the shit out of me.

I rearranged the furniture in my bedroom yesterday to a layout that makes better use of the space, but for some reason it is just breaking me.
I wasn’t even able to talk coherently at the end of moving the furniture, and just being in the room or thinking about it is seriously stressing me out.

I’m glad I’m able to play wilds with minimal issues, because gawdam is it so much fun. I love the storytelling and the fights are so much fun. For once I’m starting to feel like I’m getting somewhat good.

Character concept: a vampire who is just the most annoyingly picky eater. Has a whole checklist he runs through with potential victims that covers their recent diet and activities, refusing to suck their blood if they deviate even slightly. Stuff like how much sleep you got or where you eat.

Watched Shin Godzilla for the first time yesterday and now every single YouTube recommendation is different channels just summarizing the story instead of actually analyzing the themes and inspirations.

Genuinely forgot how comfortable undershirts can be. Wore one because I thought I’d have to change into scrubs today, but even though I don’t I may just start wearing them again because I don’t have to feel the texture of my shirts all day at work. Even keeps me slightly warmer without overheating.

I love just sitting at work actively trying to not throw up because I just have a random low level nausea with no apparent cause. Glad my body is on my side after the whole bronchitis thing last week. 🙃

@dieworkwear.bsky.social I’m curious if you have any knowledge about the history of the sleeve strap on outerwear? I got a peacoat recently with them, but they are one button one hole so they are purely decorative, and I was wondering why when it would take 2 minutes to make them functional.

Despite working an office job, I spent an hour Thursday harvesting these sweet potatoes before a cold snap would have killed them. We have been growing them so the vines make the building less drab, and will be trying to preserve some to plant in the spring. Ruined my nails digging them up though :(

Man, Xenoblade games are so good if you can overlook the combat. Like, it speaks to the quality of those games that I am willing to overlook a combat system I hate deep within my bones because of how well done every other part of that series is. And no, cooldown simulator hasn’t grown on me.

Love it when Microsoft predicts the weather for later this month as what I would describe as “apocalypticly hot”. This is more than 10° hotter than my town has ever seen, at a max of 104°.
My bet: they’re trying to use genAI and it doesn’t work because our current “AI” is anything but intelligent.
