Probably up a ladder in the vicinity of Nottingham-ish
Seen quite a few reports from yesterday that label us “relegation battlers”. Surely anyone with an ounce of football acumen can see we’ve been in a false position for this squad and (now we’ve got rid of that useless fraud) will move back up the table? #NFFC

Sean Dyche just knows how to say the right things, doesn’t he? I’m yet to see an interview with him as our manager that hasn’t made me buy into him #NFFC

Remember when we had Andrey Santos on loan and he was f*ckin w*nk and all the Chelsea armchair incels had a meltdown? #NFFC

Saw a lad in a desert camo Notts County top last night whilst playing squash and my inner monologue was all “Norman. Sir Norman. Sir Stormin’ Norman. Sir Stormin’ Norman Schwarzkopf” and now I’m concerned that nobody else would get the reference

Imagine fumbling McTominay because you wanted Antony, Ugarte and Yoro and needed the money to pay Casemiro’s wages 🫣

Got in from 7-a-side just in time to watch the last 10 mins of the Scotland game 🤯

Be good to see them back at a World Cup 👏🏼

Adam Wharton is a player whose legendary status amongst football hipsters grows with each England game he’s overlooked. The worst thing that can happen for him is he starts, shows the world that he’s just good midfielder and all his fanboys have to choke down their kombucha #ENG #EnglandvAlbania

Couldn’t work out what Leeds were trying to be yesterday. Not got enough talent in that squad to out-football us (as bad as we’ve been) but at the same time not really trying to rough us up or get at us. Get the feeling that if they played a bit more direct they’d get a bit more joy 🤷🏻‍♂️ #NFFC #LUFC

You really can’t make this shite up
Sky News just had Kelvin Mackenzie on, former editor of The Sun, one of the people at the centre of probably the most disgraceful front page in newspaper history, complaining about BBC journalists not being objective and 'fake news'. Astonishing. ~AA

I think the main talking point from today was that we made it through a minute’s silence without any drama #NFFC

Did enough to win that. Lacking a cutting edge in a few areas. Jury still out on a few of the new signings. A draw not the end of the world. Big game on Sunday ahead #NFFC

Ok, so today (particularly the 1st half) wasn’t great but the reality is we’ve been struggling since about March. Confidence looks low and we need to be more direct in some of our play rather than taking the safe option by passing backwards. Take a man on, drive at the heart of the opposition #NFFC

GET MORATO ON! #NFFC

As bad as Ange was, I still don’t think he is in my ‘Top 3 Worst Ever NFFC Managers’ list.

In no particular order: Megson, McClaren, McLeish 🏆

Special mentions also go out to Kinnear and Platt 🏅

A 3-0 loss at home against Chelsea finally saw the end of Ange Postecoglou at Nottingham Forest. The next decision at the City Ground now needs to make amends for the previous eight games. George Edwards was at the match #nffc

The end of Ange Postecoglou begs the question: what next?

7 days, 250,687 steps and 110.3 miles later it’s all over. Thank you West Highland Way, you’ve been exceptional #WHW

Slightly left-field shout here, but how would we feel about Danny Rohl*? #NFFC

*should a managerial vacancy suddenly become available…

One other minor point about Ange: in his interviews it’s always “me” or “the players” rather than “us” or “we”

Might sound trivial but I think it subtly adds to the idea that he’s not in this together with us, not part of the family #NFFC

Well… had a 3 hour drive down to Windsor to reflect on what I’ve just witnessed tonight…

Did anyone play particularly badly? No. Did we play some decent stuff at times? Yes. Have we shipped 3 sloppy goals yet again? Yes. Was the ref rubbish? Yes. Will we win at the weekend? Not a chance 😕 #NFFC

I don’t think it’s over exaggeration to say that the first half against Brentford was one of the best performances by any #NFFC side I can remember. How have we gone from that to this in such a short time???

I really want Ange to succeed but it’s getting harder. Yet again we created chances, yet again we don’t put them away and get punished #NFFC

Call me a miserable old bogger but I preferred it when we were difficult to score against ☹️ #NFFC

Oh dear. Created enough to put that game out of sight.

Don’t want to be one of those negative voices so will just say that I thought Zinchenko was decent tonight #NFFC

Some would say a 3.5 hour drive down to Swansea on a wet Wednesday night for a second-rate cup game was the height of madness

I’m beginning to agree 😬 #NFFC

So… I think I’m getting the hang of this now: it’s only a case of FAFO if the person in question is an immigrant, a minority, poor or non-white?
