The Rwanda Plan was always just an obscenely expensive gimmick that would have had no effect on the number of migrants crossing the channel. It was also utterly immoral.

We had the same one for at least a decade - at the end of Christmas all the doors would be closed and it would be packed away for next year. Still didn’t stop me and my brother from arguing over who’s turn it was each morning.

…seems that since Brexit the Tories have given up on serious policies and have decided to fight on culture wars and division. Seeing what’s happened in the US and the rise of Reform, I fear this might end up being a winning strategy.

I was about to Google “Erotic Exotic” to see who my doppelgänger is - but then thought better of it fearing what else I might find with that search term!
