I appreciate this sentiment, but I disagree, respectfully. Democratic leaders have demonstrated over & over that they will not adapt to the reality we’re living in today. How do you think we get Dem leadership to act with the urgency the moment demands?

Honest question (because I agree we’re living in a post-shame world): do you think there is still any value in pointing out hypocrisy? Or instead should we use whatever influence we have to promote an alternate vision of the world as we’d like to make it?

We’ve got to stop yelling at the millions of folks on the left who don’t vote and instead direct that energy toward the hundreds(?) of democratic “leaders” in the Party who seem incapable of giving people reasons to vote for them. Non-voters are a distraction from real issues with the Party.

Instead of blaming the left, how about we point some blame at the Dems who’ve actually had power within the party for the past 30+ years? This take is so needlessly divisive and doesn’t propose any solution to the real problems facing the Party or the country.
