I don't think he will. These policies, and others when they arrive, will serve to counter Farage, as will the almost certainly disastrous innings they'll have in local government. This is a factor, too -

At some point, we have to cast politeness to the wind and just argue it as it is: Brexit and Maga are cons that won votes because they appealed to gullible people who thought there were easy, angry solutions to complex, delicate problems.
