Thanks Serge. It's an electric blade grinder.

Thankfully, I only grind a scoop at a time, so the volume is relatively consistent, even if I'm not checking by weight.

I think the best course of action is to try different things and see what happens. I've experimented with only grinding for...

over-grinding them. Could you recommend a suitable 'level' of grind?
