It was gorgeous this morning. I took this on my morning walk in Phoenix 13 minutes before official sunrise. Also no processing.

I love when the Gila Woodpeckers come and drink from the hummingbird feeders. We had curve-billed thrashers build a nest between a cactus and our side wall this year: so much fun to see the babies.

My husband and I hiked the loop around Bell Rock and Courthouse Butte about 2 and 1/2 years ago, one of our early hikes after we moved to AZ. Absolutely wonderful.

I didn't get a picture of the Thanksgiving table yesterday, but here's a photo of the tonight: from, 10 o'clock, aloo paratha, chana dal, cilantro mint chutney, saag paneer, cucumber raita, green banana kofta in a cashew sauce, and a little tamarind sauce, cumin rice in the middle.

For my 9th or 10th birthday we were having a movie-going party to see some comedy but the movie changed that day (1-screen movie theaters back then) so we watched this movie about Norwegian resistance to Nazis. It made an impression on me.
