This little beaker came home with me today.
I have a number of them, simple form and design but all totally individual, and all perfect for their use.

A pot I stumbled across at the end of last year.
A small simply decorated mottled bowl.
I have a very soft spot for Winchcombe earthenware pottery.

Shiro Tsujimura began his artistic career studying oil painting; however, he became disillusioned during this process and eventually abandoned the idea. Inspired by a classic Ido teabowl from the Folk Museum in Japan, Tsujimura embarked on the journey of ceramic arts.

Coming up to Christmas I always look for a new dish to serve the food from - any excuse.
These two dishes were perfect.
Made by Matt Grimmitt - so pleased to see the return to slipware.

I came across 3 pots by Geoff Fuller and the end of 2024.
The first ‘moonlight drinking party’ made in 2001. I love the freedom in his work.

We headed to the opening of Nic Collins exhibition at Goldmark - Flame and Creation.

Nic has been preparing for this over the last 4 years, on show are some inspiring pots.

If you are thinking of catching the pots at Goldmark - do, you will see some of the most honest hard won pots.
