Cat lady extraordinaire, AuDHD, queer, goofy af, ex-academic, knows how to intubate, never met a pot I couldn't stick something to.
On the 57 tram, a man clearly inebriated pulls one of several bottles of wine from his bag and skulls it down. Another man gets on with a can of Canadian club. They have made a makeshift pub amongst the seats.

OMG a recording of myself started playing while I was in a different room and I was like “who the fuck is this aggressively cheerful person having a chat directly outside my open window?!”

My new favourite tag on VicPol vehicles is “fighting crime does not pay”. Just, let your mind wander with where this one might take you.

I could have worked from home today. I chose not to yesterday when I left my laptop at the office. Now I’ve forgotten my necessary medication at home and woop that’s gonna suck.

Also funny how some places can feel like home even when you haven’t been there for ages and, comparatively, didn’t spend much time there. Trauma and safety sure do work differently on the brain!!

It’s funny how you can spend SOOOO MUCH time in a place only for it to become completely foreign as soon as you leave. More funny than almost vomiting at the sight of your former employer’s website.

Does anyone else remember when Cardi B came to NZ and AUS and was like “wtf why can’t I get on the internet?!” I feel like this is going to be a short lived market.

Why isn’t Florence Pugh my girlfriend?
January 27, 2025 at 8:15 AM
Sooooo how does standardising a 6 hour work day in 2025 sound?

I’m open to more ambitious asks, but big change is harder to action and this feels like a scalable goal.

I wore my ‘emotional support demon’ shirt to see Nosferatu and yeah, wow, apt.

Now sitting in my locked car on a quiet street in Yarraville while shadows dance around me. Reminds me of binging The Walking Dead during lockdown then going into the dark alley to find my cat 😱

Monday evening Pilates class got me forgetting which side of the street I drive on 🤪🫠

Since seeing Wicked a few weeks ago I have had a song from it running through my head 100% of the time. Usually Popular or Defying Gravity, but occasionally one of the other ones. I loved the movie but its hold on internal monologue is too much.

Just saw a Vicpol car with “family or force?” written on it and I just, I just don’t think that’s quite sending the message they think it is.

My #autism means sensory issues often get in the way of the spontaneous adventures my #ADHD desires. But this morning’s impromptu adventure was so delightful, I’m going to make an adventure go bag to keep in my car 😎

2024 is the year I finally became an Australian citizen, and, fittingly, also travelled to every state and territory in the country (for work). So here’s my list of top 5 Australian places I visited (not all work related)…

I make people have meetings 🫠

(Secretly though, I’m hoping my emails never find you, that you have found freedom and are readying for the revolution)
December 31, 2024 at 3:05 AM
Are we doing #bestof2024 lists? What the hell. Here’s my top 5 first time reads of the year:
1) Little Rot by Akwaeke Emezi
2) She’s A Killer by Kirsten McDougall
3) Your Utopia by Bora Chung
4) The Day of the Triffids by John Wyndham
5) Financial Feminist by Tori Dunlap

Something you may not know about me is that I love folk music.

My Christmas present to myself was a cold drip coffee pot. Really nailed it this year!

Here’s Mom and I with Yayoi Kusama at the NGV exhibition. Very worth seeing, and also, when you see a queue, stand in it. It’s worth the wait!

We’re 3 weeks into my Mom’s 4 week stay and it’s been delightful! She is a goof who is up for things, even though I make her walk a lot. We have not fought and have only had brief sniping moments, always received with kindness. How good is growth and healing!

No matter what I try, I cannot get LinkedIn to stop giving me notifications. I’m not interested at the best of times, and now that I’m done work for the year… I don’t want to even know that app exists!

My psychologist sent me pictures of his doggos today, so, pretty sure I’m winning therapy.
