Yesterday we took over 100 aspiring headteachers to @reachschools.bsky.social and it was pretty astonishing.

Huge thanks to Rebecca Cramer, Tilly Browne, Louis Everett and Manjit Moore along with all of the staff, pupils and wider community in Feltham.

The schools are very, very special.

Couldn’t be more excited to be kicking off the second cohort of East100.

It’s such a massive privilege to work with aspiring headteachers from across the east of England.

We get to spend a year building a network that can engage in collective action to eradicate the disadvantage gap.

Can’t wait.

Everyone’s got a take on disengagement right now. Is it real? Is it new? Who or what’s to blame for it? What can we do?

I sat down w/ author of ‘The Disengaged Teen’, Jenny Anderson, who shared what she & Rebecca Winthrop found after 4 years of research.

It’s called Brave Dave by Giles Andreae and Guy Parker-Rees.

The language is really stunning, and it’s just a beautiful message.

Pleasure to join the climate wise schools’ celebration event today.

Some really thoughtful and innovative work from leaders to provide a rich climate education for their pupils. Great to learn all about them.

Hats off to Heena Dave and Prof Leigh Hoath for leading such a great programme and day.
