I had no intention of watching “K-Pop Demon Hunters”. Not today or any other day. None. I swear! Yet somehow this evening I ended up clicking on it and watching the entire movie.

We put up a 5 foot fence around our apple tree to thwart the deer, who have eaten off all the blossoms in previous years. It works! But the deer are clearly still attracted by the smell!

A Cooking Lesson: Today, I made 2 lbs of shrimp Because Reasons. Starting with 2 lbs of frozen, “Ultra Large” (13-15 per pound) shrimp. After thawing and losing the shell of frozen water, the shrimp was 1 lb 11 1/4. After cooking, shelling, and removing the tails, the same shrimp was 14 5/8 ounces.

Frank wanted the buttercream frosting blue “like my Mom used to make”. I gave it a shot, but even using nothing except blue food coloring, I’d say it’s more like a pale green. Still tastes delicious though!
