When I switched jobs I had this thought that I needed to separate my “professional” voice from my personal one. So the handle I used everywhere was replaced by various “professional” handles.

That was dumb, I’m no longer a dev advocate, and you can now find me at @jonfa.nz 😁

"Social media users are tired of losing their identity and data every time a platform shuts down or pivots. In the ATProto ecosystem, users own their data and identities. Bluesky is the first big example, but a new wave of decentralized social networks is just beginning."

My favorite MCP server, zen, has just become all of a sudden… garbage. Takes up a ton of context for very little additional gain.

Really sad too because it works super well! I’m very bullish on multi-model and/or multi-agent solutions.

Battlefield 1 is $2 on Steam and is unironically the most fun BF game. You should get it.

⁉️ Prisma is doing what??

A few months ago, our ORM manifesto included a small but impactful line:
"We're migrating core logic from Rust to TypeScript".

We got some great reactions, but also some great questions on the "why" and "how".

Wonder no longer 👇

I think my favorite thing about tech/nerd/geek culture is that we're all in on this reverse rat race where the goal is to get Doom to work on more and more esoteric platforms.
