I guess investing that amount and keeping current lifestyle would allow me to considerably earlier too. I feel greedy selecting 2.5million now!

I’ve got probably another 25 years to work. 500,000 divided by 25 is less than my salary so I guess I couldn’t retire on it , which is what I would define as a substantial difference to lifestyle.

On the other hand “Porridge Radio” is an excellent band
