After the precision landing of the economy through bumpy post pandemic conditions, it now feels ironic that we have stepped off the plane only to be run over by one of the trailers carrying all of our luggage.

Preemptively sending my ‘thoughts and prayers’ to fellow citizens in hurricane prone areas. I wish you the best as FEMA is dismantled to the point where getting tossed a roll of paper towel will be the best you might hope for. At least it could double as a pillow if you are desperate enough.

HHS secretary RFK gave an “answer non answer” when asked to address the measles outbreaks in Texas. Further, his attempt to comfort us by pointing out that while there were 12 outbreaks last year, the fact that we are now “only” at 4 JUST TWO MONTHS into the year is actually quite terrifying.
