Don't make the mistake of putting a cable tie on the fork and measure from the top of the exposed fork to the cable tie that won't show 30 mm of sag

Measure from the top of the exposed fork to the bottom of the fork

This leaves 30 mm rider sag ideal for road use

Adjust your preload by adding or removing preload to get the ideal

Don't forget it's your bike set the suspension as you like it

Your aiming for the cable tie to be around 20 mm from the bottom of your fork so it doesn't bottom out

One point it's never perfect for all roads just find the right balance

Just ride stop and adjust both preload and compression most bike compression is set at 2 turns from hard

When you adjust compression use small adjustments 1/4 turn at the time

Rebound is to personal taste but you don't want your forkscoming up too fast again make small adjustments
