Currently making a fair few changes to an Aak model to be more on model.
There is a LOT of stuff to do still such as hand painting textures some more and such, but you can see the changes currently. Got notes from an Aak artist to make these changes, and iterating bit by bit.

Very roughly put together for a friend but may as well share here.
Mainly shows how rough i start and the method I use.
Pretty much iterating each time while using my notes and reference.
So its okay if it starts out rough/shit as the important thing is getting the idea down :)

As said on main, REALLY enjoy working with this model as the rig allowed me to do a lot of stress testing to make it work.

Was doing some pose studies, and I just like how this one was coming along.
Havent done much in a bit since ive been in the midst of being promoted, so been quite busy.
But I may make a full render with this..

(This can also be done with the breakdowner tool in blender, or a tween machine, but for primary breakdowns I still use this method to avoid any issues with rotations)
This video is mainly showing how I get a rough Breakdown base for free from the poses we have already just to get started posing it

Going to use this account a bit more while i work on things to give an idea of how i think when animating things.
Primarily so it keeps me active and actually to animate my personal work...

Being an animator has its perk. Whenever I commission artists, I almost always create rough references In Maya to help with camera ideas, dynamic or just ideas in general.
Currently working on something for an idea with a friend ignore T-pose I havent posed that one yet since were exploring poses :)
