One of my favorite things about our second hand dining table is these little paint splotches from the previous owner’s children. It gives the set the perfectly lived in feeling so we aren’t too stressed about what we do on it and we’re just adding to its story.

I put these book shelves up in the first year we moved here without a drill. I spent the next week expecting to hear the wall come crashing down while we slept because the studs disappeared half way up the wall on the left. They served us well. On to new things.

The little guy’s first time on a swing today! Very gentle and he enjoyed it, but took a nap shortly there after, hence the rubby eyes pictured here.
