I feel the same way about touchpads too, I should add.

I just want a standalone fingerprint sensor. I have a Magic Keyboard tucked into my monitor stand with only the fingerprint sensor barely sticking out for this purpose. That keyboard is evil for human anatomy.

Indeed it does drive one crazy 😟
