Still digesting but King of the Hill has always been about how Hank adjusts to a world changing faster than he can keep up with. Yet this new season has so many characters doing that, all with this kinda hacky, “woahh” way that doesn’t match the tone that made the initial run work

“Wokeness” was something KotH got to avoid thankfully. It’s initial run did so well advancing its kindness while still funny agenda. A pretty radically-written show. Early episodes in the new season really trip over themselves trying to touch contemporary issues

The show is ultimately not very funny. With some uncanny valley coming from the Dale voice actor. Idk man
