It’s true. In 2018, Trump dismantled the Dept of Consumer Protection and all OEM printers sold into USA are locked against use of your choice of inks. Many of my Piezography customers are buying P900s from Amazon based in Spain and Germany. EU and China still enforce consumer protection laws.
