I don’t like asking for help, but I don’t have a choice. I’m disabled (legally blind and an amputee). I can’t find work because employers don’t want legally blind people. Anything helps. My wife works but we still end up short. I appreciate any help.

My maternal grandfather served 35 years with this agency. I’m biased as hell, but KSP is the pride of this Commonwealth. I urge folks looking for rewarding careers to joining KSP. In service to the Commonwealth and Her citizens for 80 years.

On Friday morning, we found my 15 year old chihuahua, Petunia, peacefully at rest. She crossed the Rainbow Bridge that morning. We found her abandoned 5 years ago in a very rural area. I hope the last 5 years of her life were her best.
I miss you, my sweet little girl. I’ll see you again soon.

I was headed to Raleigh-Durham (RDU) with loaded ink tanks. 79,990 lbs gross weight.
To my knowledge, this stretch of I-40 east is gone due to Hurricane Helene. I haven’t been to NC since before I was forced into medical retirement in 2023.
