They talk about “running the country like it’s a business,” and aside from the obvious flaw in that resounding (namely, that a country *isn’t* a business), it doesn’t even remotely work to run a business this way. I’ve worked at companies that tried this with staffing. Disaster, every time.

The only thing I’ll say is that Paul was personally slighted by Trump recently, and depending on how petty he is, it may influence his math when he is focus grouping whether his constituents would reward moral/ethical fortitude more or less than bootleather licking.
