Shipping out Randle for Towns could end up being their version of Granger for Evan Turner, a classic of the genre.

I’m a big We Hate Movies fan (along with Flop House and HDTGM). They’ve been around forever too with weekly episodes, so you can browse around their back catalog to find one that piques your interest. Generally a different selection than a lot of other bad-movie pods.

I love that game (though I’m petering out a bit after 20 hours). I also love that everyone seems to have a different favorite (I 100%-ed Camouflage first)

He thinks he’s so great after he swept the Princi awards

I always find it fascinating that Romney’s answer to what’s his favorite comedy was Keystone Kops

I don’t know, I don’t think a friend of Chris Rufo would get to be the official Hedgehog film correspondent for the Flop House, and isn’t that the greatest prize of all?

I can’t get over the chumminess so many of this stratum of people extend to each other, acting like the denial of other people’s humanity is just some heterodox quirk to snicker at behind their colleagues’ backs and not a disqualifying evil.

I’m so fucking jealous (Colts fan)

Oh, yeah, ultimately he probably didn’t really have a defined “space” for Bombadil, but it was a character that predated the stories and that he had a lot of fondness for, so he squeezed the round peg into the square hole and we’re all the richer for the weirdness.

I’ve always thought a lot of deep Tolkien lore was the product of him toying around with ideas of what a people or society would be like w/out a Fall from Eden, and I’m realizing “reverse Lovecraft” is a basically that same idea haha

I can’t really defend this but Tarantino instantly brought to mind the weird looking guy hidden in every Freakazoid episode

2016 was weird too because there was this storyline of “just being up there with a real candidate like Clinton is a win for Trump”, which…sigh

Something that would basically be to conservatism what Gor was to BDSM

Man, I legit love Bombadil. Intentionally or not, his inclusion does such a good job of leaving an unexplainable mystery in a world that is otherwise meticulously annotated and explainable. It’s the most oral tradition element of Middle earth and I love it.

And merry! Gotta be merry.

I’m both glad someone finally dusted that one off but also sad because it was this great orphaned bit of lore for so long, where the identified Omega mutants were a complete hodge podge, with like Power Pack-era Franklin Richards & Ice Man being like 2/5s of them

Ooh a Battle Beast buried up there! Plus that one Ghostbusters old lady toy that I saw at every garage sale for my entire childhood. So many memories [of yours]

And not even the popular superheroes

Still reasonable to come away thinking he’s an addict! But just not at that scale of money.

I think the graph isn’t quite that, unless there’s additional context missing here. I think that he’s showing the overall status of his “winnings”, with it going flat at $10k not because he was betting $10k a day but because he paused gambling at that point with his earnings static at $10k
