I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed it. Unfortunately, the negative reviews initially discouraged me from reading it. While there were a few predictable or overly sentimental moments, the overall story was engaging, and the ending was particularly well-executed. Abby Jimenez #booksky

S.A. Cosby's All the Sinners Bleed was my first introduction to his work, and it did not disappoint. The story was engaging throughout, and the conclusion was particularly satisfying. I plan to read another one of his books soon. 5 stars ⭐️ #SACosby #AllSinnersBleed #booksky

Ring Shout, written by P. Djèlí Clark, is a horror story that explores the transformation of Klansmen into monstrous creatures known as Ku Kluxes, and the black women who hunt them down. While I have yet to watch Sinners, the film supposedly shares similar elements. 4 Stars for me #booksky

Reviewing a book of short stories is challenging, as some resonated with me while others were average, but none were boring. I would give this one a 4.25 out of 5 for me. #stephenking #youlikeitdarker #booksky

This is a pretty good thriller with some nice twists, a great way to kick off the thriller/horror reading month with a compelling book. On to the next. I give it 4.75 out of 5. Keep it in the family by John Marrs #booksky

It has been a rather enjoyable month. I have encountered some really good reads featuring some surprising plot twists. I suspect May may be the month for thrillers and horror. #booksky

I’m giving this one a 3.75 out of 5. Kept me interested at times but the main characters would piss me off with their actions. I was never bored during this reading. The chain by Adrian Mckinty #booksky

Just finished the third book of the series, just for the summer. Love it. Though they are standalone books, I'm glad I read them in order, because of how the third book tied it all in. I think I gasped out loud. 5 stars ⭐️ #booksky

I enjoyed Yours Truly by Abby Jimenez, While the characters and romance had their charm, I found myself liking the first book in the series more. The story was good and never boring but didn’t grip me as much as I’d hoped. For now, I’d rate it 4 out of 5, let’s see how the third book goes. #booksky

Think I spent 4 hours today just losing myself into this story. Another romantic comedy that I finished and enjoyed this month. Book one of a three-book series. Looking forward to the next one tomorrow. 5 out of 5 for me. “Grace costs you nothing.” #partofyourworld #abbyjimenez #booksky

A slow burn psychological thriller that becomes increasingly intriguing at the midpoint. Ultimately, my predictions proved accurate, although I had not anticipated how the various elements would come together at the end. I would assign a rating of 4 out of 5. #booksky #lovemom #ilianaxander

I thoroughly enjoyed this story, which proved to be a romantic comedy that elicited a wide range of emotions throughout. Although it was my first experience with the genre, I would rate it 4.25 out of 5. Mhairi Mcfarlane if I never met you #booksky

As a long-time enthusiast of romantic comedies, I have decided to take a break from thrillers and horror films to explore this option. To see whether it can replicate the same level of enjoyment I get from watching classics like “The Wedding Planner” or “How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days.” #booksky

novel held my interest for the majority of the book. It was undoubtedly a horror novel, evoking intense and unsettling imagery. However, the final chapters failed to resonate with me. While the book effectively conveyed a sense of horror, the conclusion was somewhat disappointing. #booksky #shygirl

Excellent work. Two consecutive 5-star reads. I'm inspired by thrillers with dark endings. Also, I find myself prefering to read a thriller over watching a movie these days. #thekindworthkilling #peterswanson #booksky
