'Paperman' is a short form documentary exploring the work of artist Scott Gordon, a.k.a. Paperman.

Scott Gordon’s work is featured in over twenty public collections and has been in over a dozen exhibitions in California and Texas.

Upon the completion and installation of his mural, John was left with dozens of sketches, notes and research related to the project. He created a hand crank miniature scroll of the mural, reduced to 36% the size of the installed piece.

I recently read (and very much enjoyed) the new and expanded edition of Darren Aronofsky’s "π: The Guerilla Diaries."

These were his rules for writing the first draft of π in 1996:

“Notes on Making a Mural” takes a close look at artist John Equitz's process in creating ‘The Curiosities of Trader Joe's,’ a 130' ft. mural located in the Santa Barbara Trader Joe’s on De La Vina.
