You missed ‘musical interlude’

Scanning takes an age. I 3D printed some film holders, got a cheap light box and a macro lens. Made my own copy station. I photograph 24 negatives in about 5 mins. Into Lightroom and convert with Negative Lab Pro. Works well.

Such beautiful tones.

Depends on the image. Stacked Astro images are tiffs and end up as huge files. But you need the detail. Whereas scanned files I’m happy with saved jpegs for storage, but my faves are always kept in RAW and JPEG. But I have few faves and Astro photos so they don’t take up masses of space.

I regret certain decisions and will always lament them. But it’s bitter/sweet as they have led me to my current very happy situation.

I have zero internal monologue. When I chose not to think it’s very very quiet in there.
