It’s persistently frustrating when an MP is asked a clear question – as Bridget Phillipson was about the honesty or otherwise of Rachel Reeves’ CV on Times Radio just now – and they just answer another (in this case, the success of Reeves’ pre-political career). It’s not good for trust, at all.
