Defunkt is a great name for a bar.
History major. Somehow gainfully employed 40 years and counting w/o being a history teacher. That's included time in the Army, which trained me to be a linguist (Polish); OK, a brief stint teaching HS (English); but mostly as an editor in tech journalism. Unifying theme: words, syntax, sourcing.
