Got a sneak peak of the new seating area for 33 & 1/3 / the new Easy Wine Bar. It's looking GREAT! So nice to have a new chill hang out spot in the neighbourhood.

True. Even then a biiiit of Cathedral is in there. Mostly the north bit by Sask Drive and Albert/ Angus (Apparently it's considered part of City Centre ) It looks like the boundaries include those vacant lots on Vic, and that lot on Albert and 15th so I hope developers do something with them.

While parcels, outside of Albert and Angus street, were not included in the primary zone, significant portions of Cathedral east of Elphinstone and north of College are included in the secondary zone. To say Cathedral was left out of the intensification plan is not really accurate.

If you want to rejuvenate downtown, ask yourself "who would want to spend time here?"

Another major thing they are going to need to sort out for this to work out is snow removal. Currently Scarth is used as a snow dump and all the sand leaves it looking so dingy.
