Tried to do this but website doesn't seem to be working and won't allow me to pay. Not an author's problem obviously (!) but worth checking others aren't having this issue.

Looks pretty stupid on Nandy's part, but goodness me the absolute absurdity of Shawcross sitting in judgement on the probity of public appointments given the completely unsuitable roles he was gifted by his Conservative friends over the last 15 years.

Ideally before end of the year but the biggest artists could announce later and still be confident of selling out. A number of shows have announced for Etihad next year which is a shame for Everton. HD, Anfield and Etihad are the three competitors for a North West show, you'd only do one of those.

They're a bit more constrained on full stadium shows, think it's around 4 at the moment, but with fewer restrictions than Anfield, particularly in terms of timing. Think July is off the table at Anfield to give residents a break, which is a peak touring month.

I'd hope so, but wouldn't view it as a disaster if not given the lead times I mentioned. We're reporting on 2026 announcements all the time so ideally they'd get in one of those runs. The better licensing situation is the plaza actually, where I think they're ok for around 15+ shows of 18k cap.

No worries at all. Stadium touring runs on very long lead times (people are currently booking into 2027) but in time I think HD is very well positioned. Lots going for it ahead of Anfield, including excellent load in/out. Could be great for the club, alongside stuff in the plaza.

Correct, the arena is. HD about 48k, which interestingly is a little more than Anfield in most of their show configurations.

No they won't. If it's at Anfield then maybe, but HD isn't competing with an 11k cap arena for gigs.

I was at the Oval for two days of Test match last week. Captive crowd. £3.50 for 330ml can of non alcoholic beer.

Correct! The mix of Campbell and Powell was key and almost completely overlooked now.

Absolutely outrageous that the cricket world is allowing this to happen to a country and group of players.

If you say this is not to do with Brexit as Brits go to US/Oz/Can presumably the research you must be referring to that shows that would also show where the current cohort is going. Couldn't you then track it.
