I feel like i could post this every day for the rest of my life, and it would still be underseen, under appreciated and not understood by those who need to understand it. Anyway, here it is again. Please share with abandon.

On 9/12/01, New Yorkers were already demonstrating in Union Square under the slogan, “Our grief is not a cry for war!”
Was infinitely proud of my adopted city at that time, & am similarly proud today that New Yorkers turned out en masse to demonstrate against this idiotic and immoral war of choice.

The tariffs are not an economic tool, but a political one.

They're meant to elicit bribes from every company asking for exceptional relief from them. That's how it works.

Secondary "benefit": market manipulation. They sell high, announce tariffs, buy low when market responds.

Since people here like reading, & seem to be rather literate (perhaps even literary), I want to share a little experiment I did with some lines pulled from Camus' THE PLAGUE, replacing "plague," "epidemic" & a few other choice words with "fascism." (See attachment for the document.)
