My Radcom arrived this AM, and yes, the never-ending to and fro re digital modes, specifically FT8. Nice to see that there were positive comments about the new RSGB digital platform. It's very convenient to be able to enlarge the magazine print on my tablet. Still prefer paper, however. 😄

Very much slanted towards the old Radio User format... obviously nothing wrong with that, but not really up my street. I note that the letters section this month includes a discussion about the pros and cons of electric vehicles 😬 Roll on Radcom! This month's copy hasnt arrived at my QTH yet!

I'm extremely close to cancelling mine, too. It's a shame because I've been buying it since the 70s. A combination of easy access to information via the Internet, YouTube, and advances in technology have made PW close to irrelevant.

Actually, it's a really telling sign that things have changed considerably since the days of home brewing, kit building, and electronics experimentation by young people. Basically, nowadays, they have everything on a plate, (well in a smartphone) that requires minimal effort to operate. 😬

Fabulous 👌 Yes, I think I worked harder for that than anything else I've ever done exams wise. I actually took a week off work to dedicate to revision the week before my Full exam. I was so chuffed when I passed it. All thanks to my tutor, Andrew M0GJH

Yeah, I thought that the Intermediate would be fine, but I wasn't sure about getting to the Full. How wrong I was... it was a lot of work but I managed it.

How spooky, it's also my 10 year anniversary, I passed my Foundation the same week as you!
