Hard to believe the NY Solar + Storage Summit is just a week away! Last year, it landed right after the presidential election—a time of uncertainty. This year, we’re coming together with momentum, sharing how we’ve adapted + grown. Tickets still available—join us! www.nyseia.org/about-register

13 years after Superstorm Sandy, too many New Yorkers still lack access to resilient power. With a new mayor coming in January, NYC has a chance to lead — updating outdated codes and unlocking safe, energy storage for all. Let’s build a stronger, fairer future together.

As federal clean energy support fades, NY solar companies are stepping up—expanding into storage & efficiency. But innovation alone isn’t enough. With energy costs rising, it’s time for Albany to act. NYSEIA is pushing for low-cost, high-impact reforms. www.newsday.com/long-island/...

Every year since Zack was a toddler, Brookhaven has passed a resolution supporting the Teal Pumpkin Project — making Halloween more inclusive for kids with dietary restrictions like my son, who lives with IBD. Grateful this tradition continues. Learn more 👇

No one told me that having a dog is like living with a tiny, furry monarch with a God complex.

I pay the mortgage. She rules the kingdom.

But she’s my heart. I’d move the sun myself if I could.

16 years ago, this guy completed our family. I still remember holding him by the hospital window, thinking I could live in that moment forever. He’s grown into a truly great man—and still chooses to spend time with me. Happy birthday, son. I love you like crazy.

Testified before the @nysenate.bsky.social last week: NY isn’t on track to meet CLCPA climate goals, & energy affordability is a growing concern. I urged continued investment in distributed solar + storage—it’s ahead of schedule, under budget, & saving consumers $$. www.nysenate.gov/newsroom/vid...

Happy Gotcha Day to my sweet and loyal companion. These are challenging times in America—lots of noise, lots of weight. But this little hoodie-wearing fluffball? Unbothered. Just here with unconditional love, tail wags, and the occasional side-eye. Grateful for three years of calm in the chaos. 🐾❤️

Jim Lovell’s story always stood out to me as a powerful example of how far you could stretch the capabilities of a human life - & how doing that could make all of us better and stronger. He and others of his time made reaching for the stars seem like an attainable goal. www.nasa.gov/news-release...

The budget bill passed today in Congress is a staggering, unprecedented, heartbreaking betrayal of American values—cruel and shortsighted. But this isn’t the end of the story. We’ll mobilize our industry to ensure that NY responds with bold action to protect jobs, cut red tape, and lower costs.

🚨 The Senate is choosing to cripple the solar industry—with eyes wide open. This bill slashes clean energy incentives, kills 300K+ jobs, and raises energy costs for all Americans. We've shown Congress the data. They know the damage. They're doing it anyway. www.politico.com/live-updates...

One of the most energizing parts of my job? Creating space for real convos with solar + storage pros facing today’s challenges head-on. This year’s NYC Solar + Storage Summit reminded me: resilience isn’t just what we build—it’s who we are.

Every person must have the right to be who they are, and love who they love, in the pursuit of their own happiness. Too often, many in our country seek to empower fear with the force of law. We must resist those efforts, and insist upon nothing less than liberty and justice for all.
