Reform’s Richard Tice today praised the last Labour Government handling of asylum, saying it was done in a ‘sensible’ way.

He highlighted that ‘applications were dealt with in 3-4 weeks, including appeals’ and that ‘only about 20% of applications were granted asylum’.
