I’m enjoying learning a little Irish using Duolingo. Some of the weird phrases it throws at me strike me as oddly useful for my life. I thought I might start a thread of them here, starting with with gem:

Sandhurst Entry lives! Thanks to a micro-grant from 9ft in common and Social Farm and Gardens we’ve made a start on turning our entry from dump to garden with a lovely planter and a welcoming sign at each end. Compost supplied by Belfast Council and several plants came from another local grower
