That IS what it is though, right? It didn't NEED to change. It didn't fix a problem. It'll only create headaches, confusion, and new expenses for both businesses and taxpayers.

But it is a way for Trump to say "Fuck you, Mexico."

It's gonna be a long four years.

And for what, exactly? To give a middle finger to Mexican people? What about the state of New Mexico? The town of Mexico Beach, Florida? Is every reference to our southern neighbor going to change just so Trump can say "fuck you" through the bars of his hideous border wall?

...to say nothing about the local taxpayers footing the bill for potentially hundreds of new street signs--both their manufacture as well as the man-hours to install them.

If local municipalities led by Trump supporters decide to rename streets to reflect the change, then every business has to go through the headache of changing their address info...

For example, he couldn't simply declare that Idaho is now "Trumpaho" (actually, I'd be ok with that!), let alone one that borders two other countries (Mexico and Cuba)-- there will also be costs associated with this change.

Never mind the fact that the POTUS doesn't really have the authority to independently rename existing geographical features that lie within our own borders.
