… and development processes and just how many treatments have been identified and pushed through development pipelines of numerous researchers. Nobody is deliberately slowing research, and lots of people are researching in other areas. All of which have their priorities for affected groups. 🧵3/n.

My issue is with the comment that “it is appalling that this is the first new treatment for COPD and asthma in 50 years”. This assumes that the Pharma industry and medical research has a duty to find the “cure” that is out there and fails to understand the complexity of the drug discovery…🧵2/n.
