The world isn't silent on Gaza - this is by far the most vocal I have seen the general public on a political issue in my lifetime. I have also never seen a bigger difference between the anger of the public and the inaction of specific institutions and governments. That's the crucial disconnect.

The interesting thing about people dragging the folks in that NYT piece who said that they didn’t vote for moms to get deported is that the article is about how these women are organizing for a member of their community, aggressively and openly, and actually, that’s good.

I anledning af St. Bededag imorgen, så synes jeg, vi alle skal hate ekstra meget på SVM regeringen. De kalkulerede med, at deres upopulære afskaffelse af helligdagen ville blive glemt i løbet af valgperioden. Det er derfor vores pligt hvert år at huske på, at de netop afskaffede dagen.
