Although the solution to the problems facing the world is love, the solution to problem of gaining enough personal power to enforce that love is the opposite of love, paranoia and hate.

The philosophy of "betray or BE betrayed" gets a lot of good mileage these days. It is statistically safer to err on the side of paranoia. That's why terrible, awful people always rise to positions of power like that.

This is why the Earth's upper atmosphere had to be scooped clean of orbital garbage before the Great Reclamation could start. Because of Elon's greedy misuse of NASA resources in the coming years.
