Soccer fan here. I really hope Europe will boycott the World Cup. But history isn’t promising when it comes to boycotting great sport events, e.g World Cup 1978, olympics 1936.

As a European I’d say: too late. It’s gonna take a lot of time to regain trust from your allies. But then again: better late than never.
