City should should absolutely be made bidirectional, and also car-free.
A simple way to improve American downtowns: Make one-way arterials bidirectional.

Doing so will improve safety, boost retail sales, and attract pedestrians.

Me, in Bloomberg 🧵
One-Way Streets Are the Wrong Way to Tame Downtown Traffic

Being delayed over an hour wouldn’t be as bad if you knew it ahead of time but updates every 20 minutes that it’s delayed another 20 minutes is torture, especially when there’s zero shade. Nationalize the freight companies!

The Qattara Depression could hold about 3500 cubic kilometers of ocean water, about 3 years worth of sea level rise. Plus another 12 days of sea level rise would evaporate every year. Florida should pay for this.

Pretty crazy that of the PA State House & Senate districts whose most recent margin was under 10%, there's so little overlap. Just Falls Township, Tullytown, Morrisville, and one division of Hanover Township.
