Passport book and card arrived today! From Lyon to Paris to the US and back, all in 11 days!

The email said to expect it to arrive here in Lyon within the next two weeks. By the way, passport book and passport card are mailed separately.

I mailed my application to the Embassy in Paris on March 21. (That’s the only way to renew for expats in France.) I got an email on March 23 from the passport agency in the US saying they received my application and documents, and on the 25th they emailed again to say my passport was mailed.

Calls going to the previous number,1-800-273-TALK, are apparently automatically rerouted to 988.
