I think malls need to adapt to a world where the anchor tenants of the past are no longer relevant due to ecommerce. For simple convenience it’s hard to beat Amazon. They should be asking what people want to buy in person vs. perhaps at a premium. Westfield Valley Fair seems to stumbled upon this.
