St Gregory's church in Norwich has long been redundant and is currently an antique centre. The multitude of display cases help hide that both the medieval font with its Jacobean cover and the pulpit remain in situ. #fontsonfriday

The churchyard at Great Melton has two churches, one (St Mary) a tower only. The 1660s ledgers in the chancel still lie in situ. I took a brush on my second walk there this week. Still legible, so black Belgian marble from the same Norwich workshop.
