He looks like a very friendly pumpkin and unlikely to scare off many witches 😊

When I was in India recently was delighted to see they painted scary pumpkins each new moon to perform a similar function

Thomas doesn’t care who you are, what you look like or what you believe in. Thomas just wants you to be calm, kind, provide a warm lap (without moving for several hours) and a ready supply of Dreamies. The world would be a better place if everyone was more like Thomas 🫶 #LoveNotHate

We all need to be more like Jane and encourage ’good trouble’. Sad news.

Whilst it’s been lovely to go away, meet new people, and make some firm friends, it’s also very lovely to come home

It’s also probably why older women have been demonised to diminish their ability and propensity to speak truth to power. We don’t (often) burn strong women for being witches any more but the modern equivalent includes de-titling, pile-ons, doxxing and labelling people as ‘Karen’s’

I was away at #BGCS2025 in London all week. Great to see everyone but even better to come home to peace and someone who missed me

Be the father who encourages your daughter to follow her dreams, expands her mind, and gets her to help you build walls, put up fences, and mend plugs. Take her walking and climbing, show her the beauty of wildlife and open spaces. Miss you 😢

Not just me, then? 😸 Meanwhile I’m cat-sitting this little minx who brought me a live mouse to say thank you for feeding her whilst her humans are away

Definitely not one of these though (chough- really red legs and beak - the picture doesn’t do them justice).

Thomas the alley cat having been a stray for several months, then several months in the rescue shelter before we adopted him. I’ve seen photos from not long after he was rescued and he was very dirty, scarred and sorry for himself 💔. Scars were still healing at this point 😿
