If you live with a roommate/roommates you can definitely find neighborhoods in Chicago with $500/room rent prices once it’s split up. Ravenswood, Rogers Park, Humboldt Park, Albany Park, and most of the South/West side are just a few. Rising rent is still a huge issue however.
