A homily from an unknown person nearly 2000 years ago. How true this is and challenges us today.
The One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church has preached truth since the earliest times.

A retired priest I pray with over the phone every night told me he used to lead pilgrimages to Lisieux.

We met Sunday for a meal and he gave me a priceless treasure, a 1st class relic of my patron Saint, Therese.

So honured & blessed.

When my time is up its lined up for our beloved Aylesford 🙏🕊

The Divine Office is such a treasure!
Today we had the "Office for the dead"!
Not morbid but full of resurrection hope & to put our trust in our Saviour.
Just see some of it in the "concluding prayers" option 🕊🙏

I pray everyone, not just priests etc get into the joyful discipline of praying the Divine Office!

It really does start our day, escort us through it & finally turns our hearts to Him before sleep.

I prayed for you & all who see this at Mass this morning for the Feast of the little flower.
The Church was named St Therese (my own church had no Mass sadly)
I was kindly positioned just before the altar & her Icon.

Wonderful news, fully empathise losing the stoma when possible is a great relief. Btw did they give you any Stocare remover spray? Stops unnecessary stinging & eases the changes.
Keeping you in my prayers and am confident the little flower praying for you also.
Shalom 🙏🏻🕊️
Enjoy the Divine Office.

This book got me started plus help of the sisters when we had a convent.
Could your priest help you?
If you have the 3 volume series I can show you this Monday what page etc to give you a little confidence?
I'm no way an expert but love the Divine Office as a great way to start and end the day. 🙏🕊

This Saint, St Macimillian Kolbe helped me on my pilgrimage from evangelical fundamentalist to our precious Catholic Faith.
On the then rcia course, the Blessed virgin Mary was a sticking point tbh and he wrote something that was a key for me:

"You can never love the BV Mary more than Jesus does" 🙏
