I’ve come to loathe titles like «the rise and fall of» and other similarly clichéd video essay names. I write a lot of them off because of that alone. I might’ve missed some good ones because of that, but I’d rather click on one called «video _essay_final_FINAL_finalforreal.mp4» than any of those.

Again, I don't 'really' care. But I still need to vent a little. People can be so annoying about things that don't matter.

That’s mostly DB Sparking Zero I’m talking about. Other live services I don’t have any interest in can rot for all I care. But SZ fans are super obnoxious and ridiculously entitled. Most of them don’t realize how insane a roster of 190 characters IS for any game, even with recycled animations.

And don’t get me fucking started on live service games «retrospective videos» 2-3 months after launch, on how they’ve failed and will never get any better when they barely have gotten the season pass started and updates are basically guaranteed. Fucking CHILL.

I know to not bother or care about other people’s opinions of course, but it’s REALLY annoying to me when so many essays pop up in my feed saying «I can fix this ending» and it’s just them overlaying another series ending that they happen to like more.

It’s kind of getting to me how there’s so much hate for both MHA’s ending and AoT’s endings. I think they both nailed the landing. (Or at least, AoT’s anime ending nailed it.) Nothing is perfect, and neither is close to that, but they fit well with their respective authors goals (I think) so… Yeah.
