After a 3 month break the regional league competition returned today. We played a home match in which I was paired with someone around 150 elo higher rated than me, and I unfortunately lost the game. It was my first loss of the season in 4 games played #Chess

Last year I needed 3 surgeries, all for separate health issues. I hoped 2025 was going to be much quieter on that front, but I know I'm going to need another surgery at some point. And now I've been told that it's going to be much more complicated, and therefor risky, as initially thought. Ugh

Nieuwe PGB aangevraagd omdat deze eind 2024 zou verlopen. Duurde allemaal wat langer (mistte een handtekening op 1 pagina...), en de verzekeraar heeft iets van 12 weken om de aanvraag te behandelen, nu krijg ik dus geen geld voor mijn zorg totdat zij het behandeld hebben.. #PGB #Zorg #Beperking

Chess can be so funny. At the board you can feel like your position is much better/worse, but then if you look it over, it turns out to be the complete opposite from your evaluation. I guess that shows that I need to get better there.. #Chess

I just learned that Primark launched an adaptive fashion clothing line designed for disabled people, and it makes me so happy. Affordable clothing specifically designed for disabled people with a variety of adjustments possible is so needed

I've seen a lot of posts about using the alt text feature when you're posting pictures as it increases accessibility and allows everyone to be included. I would also request you to capitalize the words in the #Hashtags you use. It makes it easier for screen readers to detect what they are saying

I got caught in an opening I didn't know, but I thought I played it okay. Lost a pawn soon after though, and from there on I missed, overlooked, and failed to respond well to so many things. Another loss. 1 game to go #Chess #TataSteelChess
